Remote Help


Instructions

This process will download a small agent to your mac. When launched it will allow us to help you remotely.

  1. Clicking on the link at the bottom of this page will download the Quick Connect Agent.

2.  Once downloaded, open your Downloads folder (Finder, Go menu)

3. Double click on the RemotixQC.zip to expand and then double click on the RemotixQC icon to run it. Or, if it has automatically expanded as they sometimes do, it will just be a small round blue icon, just double click on the RemotixQC icon.

PLEASE NOTE

4. If you running 10.13 High Sierra, there is nothing else to do. However, you are running 10.14 Mojave or higher you need to proceed to step 5.

5. Click on the Apple menu and choose System Preferences.

6. Click on Security and Privacy.

7. Click on the padlock in the lower left corner and unlock your mac with your password

8. Scroll down until you see Accessibility.

9. Click the Remotix QC in the right hand pane to give it a checkbox. If you are asked to Quit just choose Later

10. In the left hand list, scroll down on the until you see Screen Recording. Checkbox Remotix Agent that in the same way as before.

To download the required agent, click on the link QuickConnct.
