The Bark app! It’s a game-changer for parents who are looking for an easy way to monitor their kids’ tech activity!
For starters, let’s address the elephant in the room: It’s not just your typical parental control app! It’s one of the most comprehensive digital safety platforms out there!
First off, Bark keeps tabs on all your kid’s connected devices, 24/7. It monitors their text messages, emails, YouTube, and social media accounts, looking for potential red flags. That way, if something scary happens, you’re the first to know!
But the safety benefits don’t end there. You can also set limits and make sure that your offspring aren’t spending too much time on their (not-so-educational) games. And to top it all off, the app can detect signs of cyber bullying, depression, aggressive behavior, and suicidal thoughts.

Now if the thought of using Bark is making you feel a little overwhelmed, don’t worry—it’s not as intimidating as it sounds! The app’s user interface is designed to be easy to use and understand. Plus, Bark’s team of experts is there to help you out with any questions that you may have.
What’s more, Bark can bring out the inner (dog) sleuth in you! Just kidding (kind of), Bark’s features are designed to help you investigate any suspicious activity on your kid’s devices. It’s like having your very own private investigator, in digital format!
All in all, Bark is an innovative digital safety platform that is especially helpful for parents in this day and age. And, to be honest, it’s downright hilarious how Bark has created something so serious, yet so user-friendly!

Hi Renny,
Thank you for your news letter. I was speaking with someone about the value of the Apple computers. They replied that the weakness of Apple was their security. I doubted this, but thought you would could advise on the matter..
Perhaps it would make a good subject for the next newsletter.

Thanks Chris.
I will certainly think about it. But in the meantime I can assure you that this ‘someone’ is very wrong about security and Apple.
You will notice that every time there is a ‘serious’ malware outbreak for the Mac the person generally needs physical access to the Mac to make it work. You’ll also notice that “apps spying on you” are nearly always Android.
I would, in any practical sense, pitch a Mac against Windows (or esp Android) for security any day. It is also worth noting that the iPhone, IPad and Mac devices receive Defence Signals Directorate approval for use… so there is that.
